Spring 2026
Dear Returning CVBC Counselors and Staff,
We are so happy to welcome you back to camp as we celebrate our 31st Camp Anniversary. Your dedication and continued support have been essential to the success of camp and we greatly value your feedback and involvement! Please provide your thoughts, ideas, and suggestions on the Returning Counselor Application. Thank you so much to those of you who have already offered to help with the camp planning process. And, please let me know if you would like to help plan and run a camp activity if you have not already done so!
Camp dates for 2026 are June 7th – 13th. Counselor orientation will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday the 6th. The campers will arrive on Sunday the 7th. Counselor orientation is mandatory, even for returning counselors.
The theme for the week will be “Outerspace”.
We will have activities that highlight this theme all week as well as your favorite camp activities like team building and the Challenge course and zipline, swimming, sports, crafts, horseback riding, canoeing, fishing, archery, yoga, Camp Olympics, the carnival, campfires, the camp dance, entertainment, the variety show, and a very special off-site trip!
Please think of ways that you can help with this theme at camp. Bring items for decorating the dining hall, costumes, anything else you could think of for the theme, and your instruments and talent for the variety show and campfires.
Please submit your completed application by March 20th.
Applications are available on our website under the Returning Counselors section (www.vaburncamp.org) You will also be required to complete and submit a notarized criminal history form. Instructions will be provided for obtaining this form once your application is received. Camp will pay the processing fee for this form.
Receipt of your application is necessary to secure your counselor position.
