Hey Campers and Families!

Get ready—Central Virginia Burn Camp 2026 is coming soon! Camp will take place June 7–13, 2026, and we can’t wait to see everyone back for an amazing week together.

Central Virginia Burn Camp (CVBC) is a free overnight camp for kids and teens ages 7–17 who have experienced a burn injury. Camp is all about having fun, making friends, trying new things, and spending time with other kids who get it. Our volunteer staff is trained, supportive, and dedicated to making sure every camper feels safe, included, and confident.

If you’re looking for a week full of laughs, adventure, and memories that last forever—this is it!

2026 Camp Theme: Outer Space

This summer is extra special because it’s our 31st year of camp, and our theme is “Outer Space!” That means a week packed with out‑of‑this‑world fun, creative activities, and plenty of surprises.

Campers will enjoy all our favorite activities, including: Swimming, Sports and Games, Challenge Course, Climbing Wall and Zip Line, Arts and Crafts, Horseback riding, Canoeing and Fishing, Archery, Camp Olympics, Carnival, Campfires, Camp Dance, Entertainment, the Camp Variety Show, and Awards Night, A very special off‑site trip, and SO MUCH MORE!

Every day is full of chances to try something new, cheer each other on, and just be yourself.

Older Campers: CIT Opportunities

If you’re turning 18 and aging out of being a camper, don’t worry—you may not have to say goodbye just yet! Some of our older campers may have the chance to come back as Counselors‑in‑Training (CITs).

CITs get to: Stay connected to camp, Be with camp friends, Help support younger campers, and Give back to a place that means a lot to them!

How to Apply

• Application deadline: April 15, 2026
• Apply online:
  Go to www.vaburncamp.org, click the Camper tab, and select Application. After creating an account, you can fill out and submit the application online.
• Other options:
  You can also complete a paper application and return it by mail, email, or fax.

All campers must submit a Physician’s Report and a complete Health History so we can make sure camp is safe, healthy, and fun for everyone.

Once we receive your completed application, we’ll send you a confirmation letter, packing list, and directions.
